Update 2.0 for Total War: Warhammer III has been released today, August 23, 2022. It adds the long-awaited global campaign “Immortal Empires” to the game. In this campaign, the developers have combined content from all three parts of the series and placed all the factions ever available in the trilogy on a single map. The necessary changes in the balance also have been made. Now the campaign is in beta status: the developers are waiting for the first impressions of the players in order to continue improving it in the future.
Immortal Empires is available for free to everyone who owns Total War: WARHAMMER I, II, and III on a single account in a single store. Despite its beta status, the campaign already has enough content for a full-fledged game, including a playable Be’lakor and sea paths that allow you to quickly travel between distant parts of the map.
Update 2.0 adds not only a new campaign but also a huge number of improvements, including multiple balance changes and new content for the existing campaign in the game, including 4 new provinces.
Simultaneously with the update, 2 paid DLCs were released:
- Champions of Chaos: Adds four new legendary Chaos Lords to the game with unique mechanics.
- Blood for the Blood God III: blood effects and dismemberment animations, 18+.
