Recently, a Reddit user elsifsheep accused the developers of Fly Corp of allegedly deliberately breaking the game with an update that was downloaded immediately from fly-corp.ru after launching the game from. Studio KishMish denied this information and commented this situation in comments of the news post in our VK community:
Accessing the server when starting the game is a login (getting a nickname) or registering in order for the high score tables to work. The problem with the lags is related to several anti-piracy systems that we use, one of which is from Steam. Unfortunately, after they hid the game (because one of our partners was banned and had access to control the application) we stopped having access to update the application We released a patch that completely removes all protection systems from the game (and at the same time improves the balance of the mode game “Open the World” and fixes a couple of minor bugs), we distribute it via a link to Google Drive.

KishMish studio also believes that the reason for the ban lies in the fact that about three years ago the developer created a new account on Steam after the ban of the previous one, the reason for which was the renaming of his game during the event. Developers are still trying to resolve this situation with Steam support.
UPDATE: now the game is back on Steam.
