About

The Strategy Game Database contains only video games whose genre is strategy games. The list is not full but we update it constantly. You can use sorting and search possibilities to find games by title, date, genre, publisher, developer, platform, and tags. You also can use multiple filter combinations to get results like “all historical strategy games, released in 2022”.

Grade Color

In our Strategy Game Database, we use a 3-grade system for games: A (gold), B (silver), C (bronze). We make our choice based on the criteria indicated in the table below (a game must meet one or more criteria).

Grades A, B, and C
A Grade (gold)B Grade (silver) C Grade (bronze)

Some games have no grade mark. It means that the grade is just not indicated for some reason.

It’s very difficult to classify games by grade and our classification is a bit subjective. The main purpose of this classification is to make your search easier: sometimes you don’t want to look at the hundreds of games and want to search only within AAA strategy games, for example. Not always A-grade games are better than B or even C-grade ones, but they are always more popular and famous.
