Relic Entertainment released a video in which they shared details on how the work on the soundtrack of Company of Heroes 3 is going on. They told that 70 different actors were invited to voice the characters. The developers believe that dialogues of various characters are one of the most important things that players liked in the past parts of the series, and therefore they plan to implement it at a decent level.
The game will feature an extensive original soundtrack recorded using live instruments. The main themes of the music are heroism, hope, drama, and power. The soundtrack will change depending on what is happening in the game, including multiplayer battles, thereby increasing the intensity of immersion.
Sound effects are being completely reworked as well: from shots and ricochets to the sounds of soldiers’ footsteps. Although the developers are working with already existing sound libraries, all the effects for Company of Heroes 3 are created from the ground up, and the studio is confident that they will be better than in the previous games in the series.
The release of Company of Heroes 3 is expected on November 17, 2022.
